Drunk SMC Man Crashes Car Into Japanese Cemetery: Police
Police detected alcohol on a man's breath after he drove his car through the cemetery.
COLMA, CA — Officers arrested a 28-year-old man Thursday in Colma after he crashed his car through a Japanese cemetery, police said.
At around 2:04 a.m., police said they responded to the area Hillside Boulevard and F Street after receiving a report of a solo vehicle accident.
When officers arrived, they said they found a grey Acura had crashed through the fence into the Japanese Cemetery at 1300 Hillside Blvd.

Police said they found a man, identified as Caius Stevens, 28, of San Francisco, standing with a woman who police determined was his passenger.
Officers said they detected the smell of alcohol on Stevens and said he showed signs of being under the influence.

He was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and arrested for driving under the influence.
He was cited and released into the care of the hospital, police said.
