Five Residents Displaced In Peninsula House Fire

DALY CITY, CA — Five people were displaced Monday morning after a fire burned a Daly City home, fire officials said.
The fire was reported at 9:04 a.m. in the 1000 block of Hanover Street, where fire crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the house, according to the North County Fire Authority Fire Authority.

Firefighters aggressive attacked the fire while searching for anyone inside. No residents were found in the home and crews were able to extinguish the blaze before it spread or caused any more damage.
No injuries were reported.

Five people who lived there were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The fire is under investigation by North County Fire Authority Fire Prevention Division.
