Hundreds Of Packaged Colored Pills, MDMA, Cocaine And More Taken In Huge SMC Seizure: Police

Officers received a domestic violence call and while searching the suspect's car found a "large quantity of illegal drugs," police said.

MOSS BEACH, CA — Officers responding to a domestic violence call Wednesday in Moss Beach seized a large quantity of illegal drugs from a suspect including MDMA, cocaine, hundreds of packaged colored pills and capsules, scales and more, police said.

At around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in the 900 block of Etheldore Street in Moss Beach after receiving a domestic violence call.

Police said when they arrived they learned the suspect, Robert Hernandez, 32, had left the area. The victim had sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment, police said.

A short time later, deputies located Hernandez and his car nearby. Hernandez, was on probation, and police said they searched his car and found suspected MDMA, cocaine, hundreds of packaged colored pills and capsules, scales and other items of evidence.

Hernandez was arrested, booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility and charged with domestic violence inflicting corporal injury on a cohabitant, false imprisonment, possession of a controlled substance for sale, transporting a controlled substance for sale, possession of other controlled substances for sale, possession of substance similar to Toluene, police said.
