Pacifica School District in hot water. Recall, Lawsuit, Gray Tax Out
The recall effort for the PSD is underway. A group of parents / concerned citizens will protest prior to the board meeting.

Many community members and parents alike are upset about the recent handling of the seemingly manufactured budget crisis for the school district. The vote took place on 1.22.25 and the district is starting to feel the fallout.

A group of seniors formed calling themselves Gray Panthers. They are concerned residents over the age of 65 that are exercising their exemption from local Pacifica property tax Measure EE that passed last year as a form of protest. They call it a "Tax Out"
2/12/25 4:30PM A recall protest, led by a Vallemar parent, (a K-8 school that is also affected), will be in force, rain or shine, at the PSD. The board meets at 5:00 for a closed session, and an open session at 6pm. (see below for address)
