Pacifica Woman Hit, Killed By RV: Police
Police say the woman was a transient who lived in town.

PACIFICA, CA — Pacifica police are investigating a deadly crash in town in which a woman was hit by a recreational vehicle as she was walking. The incident happened Friday around 5 p.m. in the 2200 block of Palmetto Avenue, according to the police.
Police say a 63-year-old woman, a transient whose name was not released, was rushed to an area trauma center with major injuries after the RV hit her.
"Despite life-saving measures, she later died as a result of those injuries," police said in a news release.

The man who was driving the RV, a 71-year-old transient, is cooperating with police, officials said.
