SMC Wood Shop Teacher Accused Of Sex Crimes Against Student
A wood shop teacher employed at the school since 2015 is accused of committing lewd acts and sexual battery against an underage student.
PACIFICA, CA — A Peninsula high school teacher is accused of multiple sex crimes after police allege he committed "lewd and lascivious sexual acts" against an underage female student.
According to the Pacifica Police Department, Paul Spinetti, 64, started working as a wood shop teacher at Terra Nova High School in 2015. Investigators allege the incident happened between Oct. 31 and Nov. 4.
Police said they could not share specific details about the allegations, citing a need to protect the student's identity and preserve the investigation's integrity.

Spinetti was arrested at his home Tuesday on suspicion of felony sex crimes, including lewd acts with a minor and sexual battery, and booked at the Maguire Correctional Facility.
