SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County Coastside is testing its notification sirens on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The sirens are intended to be heard outdoors in high-risk areas and won't be heard in parts of the county coast where topography and high elevation mitigates tsunami threats.
