San Mateo County Man Arrested After Gun Is Pointed At Neighbor

Steven Jankech, a 39-year-old Daly City man, has been arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at a neighbor during a dispute.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA -- A Daly City man has been arrested after allegedly pointing a handgun at a neighbor during a dispute.

At about 1 p.m. on Monday, July 29, Daly City Police officers responded to the 100 block of Santa Cruz Avenue on a neighbor dispute where one of the neighbors allegedly pointed a handgun at the other.

Officers arrived and after completing an investigation arrested Steven Jankech, a 39-year-old Daly City resident. A handgun was recovered at the scene, and Jankech was later booked into the Mcguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City for criminal threats and assault with a firearm.
