Sexual Assaults In National Parks, Bay Area Linked: Police
A Bay Area man has been jailed, accused of 28 counts of felony sexual assault.

PACIFICA, CA — A 38-year-old man has been accused of 28 counts of felony sexual assault for incidents in Pacifica and several national parks, police said.
Jason Crist was arrested about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Pacifica without incident, police said in a press release Saturday. He was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City.
The arrest was the result of an investigation into assaults in Pacifica and various national parks that began in January 2022, police said.

Pacifica detectives coordinated with the U.S. National Parks Police Service and the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office, police said.
