CA Fire Photos: Thousands Flee Homes As Deadly Fires Rage
Thousands flee the as strong winds whip wildfire flames in the Los Angeles area leaving homes charred and roadways blocked.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — California firefighters are grappling to put out multiple fires that are ravaging the Los Angeles County area.
With powerful Santa Ana winds fanning the flames, there were four major blazes burning out of control as of Wednesday morning: the Palisades, Eaton, Hurst and Woodley fires.
More than 70,000 people are affected by evacuations orders. There was zero percent containment on all of the fires.

Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone said two people were killed and many others hurt in the fires, which have destroyed more than 1,000 structures.
