Exhausted Hiker Rescued By Air From Pacific Palisades Trail: LAFD

A hiker suffering from exhaustion was rescued by air Saturday afternoon, according to the LAFD.

LAFD air and ground crews responded to the Bienveneda Trail, north of the Leacock Trail, at around 3:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a 66-year-old female hiker suffering from exhaustion, according to firefighters.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A hiker suffering from exhaustion needed to be rescued by air from a Pacific Palisades trail Saturday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

LAFD air and ground crews responded to the Bienveneda Trail, north of the Leacock Trail, at around 3:30 p.m. for a report of a 66-year-old female hiker suffering from exhaustion, according to firefighters.

An LAFD rescue helicopter lowered a flight paramedic to assess and stabilize the patient. Crews planned to hoist the patient into the helicopter for in-flight care and transportation to a local hospital, according to the LAFD.
