Fire Breaks Out At Home Above PCH

It took 47 firefighters 50 minutes to extinguish the fire that broke out at a home perched above Pacific Coast Highway.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — It took 47 firefighters 50 minutes to extinguish a fire that broke out at a home above Pacific Coast Highway Thursday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire broke out on multiple levels of a Lecco Lane home in the Castellammare neighborhood at around 10 a.m. The 2,844-square-foot home descends from the hills down toward Pacific Coast Highway, firefighters said.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire. There were no injuries reported, firefighters said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
