Munchie Machine Comes to Swarthmore Avenue
The ubiquitous food truck seen around Los Angeles comes to Pacific Palisades on Friday night.

If you're craving gourmet late night snacks, like mango chutney chicken with Brie sliders or a spinach artichoke grilled cheese with lemon aioli, head down to Swarthmore Avenue on Friday nights near Steve's Deli.
The Munchie Machine, run by Pacific Palisades and Brentwood locals Rob Grier and Oliver Caplain, will be posted from 4 to 9 p.m. (or later).
"And we're going to serve up what we do," Grier told Patch Thursday. "We're lke a neighborhood cafe on wheels."

Both guys attended Palisades Charter High School and Grier's a career restauranteur while Caplan is an entrepreneur. Grier said they've known the owner of the deli, Steve Taub, since high school and approached him about having The Munchie Machine nearby.
