Pali Patch Readers Respond to Traffic Issues at Chautauqua/PCH

Construction causes severe congestion all week for motorists in the 90272.

Lane reductions for road construction near the hectic intersection of Pacific Coast Highway, Chautauqua Boulevard and Entrada Drive in Pacific Palisades has caused congestion all week.

I'm hearing it gets really bad midday at the intersection now.

Here's a sampling of some responses on our Facebook page from Pali Patch users:

Shannon Colmenares - Horrible congestion during business hours. Very frustrating. It was at a standstill going North-bound the other day when it backed up to beyond the McClure Tunnel on the 10 during lunch hour.
Georgia Dent Inferrera -  Just came through there about 30 min ago, it was wide open! Same yesterday about the same time. Monday was real bad! Backed up onto the 10 at the Lincoln on ramp about 1:10pm!
Karen Fairbank - At 12:30 it was gridlocked to Lincoln exit.
Deann Hawkins Wilken - Think they end at 4 or 4:30 so open then. It is the middle of the day that is terrible.
Gail Kim - Took 35 minutes from McClure Tunnel to Chautauqua on Tuesday ~ 12:30.
Shelby Smith Larsen - How can anyone miss it?
Heather Wilken - Everyday this week (in the mid day) it has taken and extra 1/2 hour from the tunnel to Temescal. People are late to work and late to pick up their kids from school because if it. Hope it is over soon!!!
Judy Gaye - Backed up BEFORE the tunnel on 10 west coming to get Kenny. Went 3 -4 mph from there to Chautauqua. Took forever to get to Marquez.
