Pali High Band To Perform At Hollywood Bowl During 'We Love LA' Concert

The school's band will perform in front of an audience of first responders and those impacted by January's wildfires.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — The Palisades Charter High School Band will perform the National Anthem at a free concert at the Hollywood Bowl meant to thank first responders and those impacted by January's wildfires.

The "We Love LA" concert will see Music and Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel leading the Los Angeles Philharmonic, which will be joined by special guests. The program features the music of John Williams and Gabriela Ortiz alongside selections from Mahler, Gershwin, the popular canon and more.

  • "Kauyumari," Gabriela Ortiz
  • "Adagietto from Symphony No. 5," Mahler
  • "I Got Rhythm" variations (George Gershwin), Gerald Clayton, piano

  • Three selections from "Harry Potter," John Williams
  • Two selections from "Star Wars," John Williams.

Those directly impacted by January's wildfires can register to reserve free tickets. Selected registrants will be notified and tickets will be distributed beginning March 17.
