Surf's Up! Big Waves and Dangerous Rip Currents Expected in Pacific Palisades

High surf and dangerous rip currents are expected through at least Friday night along LA County beaches, according to forecasters.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA - High surf and dangerous rip currents are expected through at least Friday night along LA County beaches, according to the National Weather Service.

A large west to northwest swell will bring elevated surf with 3 to 6 feet, forecasters say.

With the warmer temperatures through Friday, beach goers are urged to use caution. Rip currents, which can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea, will be unusually strong as well as the possibly of sneaker waves.
