1 Injured, 5 Displaced In Indio Attic Fire

INDIO, CA — Five adults were displaced by a residential fire in Indio Saturday that left one person with minor injuries, the Riverside County Fire Department announced.
The fire was reported around 11:20 a.m. Saturday in the 82500 block of Nancy Drive, where firefighters reported an active attic fire in a single-story home.
The fire was contained in about 30 minutes and one resident was treated for minor injuries, but declined transport to a hospital.
