1 Person Killed In Palm Springs RV Fire

PALM SPRINGS, CA — A person was killed by a fire that ignited in a recreational vehicle in Palms Springs, authorities said Saturday.

The fire was reported at about midnight in the 200 block of West Mesquite Avenue, according to the Palm Springs Fire Department.

"An aggressive fire attack and search was conducted and sadly one person was found deceased," fire officials said in a tweet.

The identity of the victim was not disclosed.

The blaze was being investigated by the Palm Springs police and fire departments.
