INDIO, CA — The Indio Police Department announced Wednesday that 20 arrests were made during the 2023 Power Trip Festival that was held at the Empire Polo Club over the weekend.

Festivalgoers began to arrive as early as last Thursday to load into the campsite, according to Indio Police Department public information officer Ben Guitron.

"With the assistance of our neighboring cities and local law enforcement partners, traffic congestion was kept to a minimum during camping load-in and campers settled in for the weekend festivities," Guitron wrote in a statement.
