3 Hospitalized After 2-Car Crash In La Quinta

LA QUINTA, CA — Three people were taken to a local hospital after a two-car collision was reported in La Quinta on Thursday morning, authorities said.

Firefighters responded to the scene of the crash involving three vehicles at 7:25 a.m. at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Monroe Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Two people with moderate injuries and one person with major injuries were taken to a hospital by ground ambulance, fire officials said.

The incident was then turned over to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
