COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — Four people overdosed at the Palm Springs Cemetery Thursday, two of whom were taken to a hospital.

Fire crews responded around 12:40 p.m. Thursday to a report of two people suffering an apparent overdose at the Palm Springs Cemetery, according to Cathedral City Police Department Sgt. Daniel Anes.

Officers immediately administered two doses of Narcan before firefighters arrived and took over treatment, according to Anes. Officers remained on the scene and assisted with crowd control.

Fire crews then took two people to a hospital, Anes said, but did not specify which two people were taken to the hospital nor what condition they were in.
