Up To 5 Golf Carts Burn In Palm Desert Parking Structure Blaze

The fire was reported in the 1000 block of Pinehurst Lane, near Marriott's Desert Springs Villas II resort.

PALM DESERT, CA — Four to five golf carts went up in flames in a Palm Desert parking structure early Tuesday morning, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department reported.

At about 5:44 a.m., crews were called to the 1000 block of Pinehurst Lane, where the carts were burning, the agency said. The area is near Marriott's Desert Springs Villas II resort.

The fire was contained in about 20 minutes; no injuries were reported.
