Five people were injured Saturday evening in a Palm Desert car crash. The incident happened around 6:54 p.m. on Highway 111 near Town Center Way, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire officials said all five patients were transported by ground ambulances with minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation, fire officials said.
