6 LGBTQIA+ Business Leaders Being Honored In Palm Springs

The recognition celebrates the diverse business community in Palm Springs, according to city officials.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Six LGBTQIA+ business leaders will be honored with the Spirit of Palm Springs Awards during a Pride Month ceremony Wednesday at City Hall.

The annual event is scheduled for 3 p.m. at 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way.

"This special recognition during Pride month underscores Palm Springs' commitment to celebrating the diverse business community that makes our city a destination for entrepreneurship, creativity and inclusion," city officials said.

The honorees are:
-- Jennifer Seymour of Hunters Palm Springs';
-- Bill Sanderson of Townie Bagels;
-- Tony Marchese of Trio Restaurant;
-- Lucy DeBardelaben of the Palm Springs Women's Jazz and Blues Association;
-- Shann Carr of "A Lesbian Concierge in the Desert"; and
-- Tai Spendley, owner and chef of Rooster and the Pig.
