64-Year-Old Man Jailed For Palm Desert DUI Injury Collision: Cops
Another motorist was injured in the wreck, sheriff's officials say.

PALM DESERT, CA — A 64-year-old Mountain Center man is accused of driving under the influence and causing a collision that injured another motorist.
Curt Johnson was arrested Tuesday following the 11:30 a.m. collision near the intersection of Cook Street and Country Club Drive in Palm Desert and booked on suspicion of DUI and causing bodily injury, according to jail records.
"Johnson did not sustain any injuries as a result of the collision, however the driver of the other vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where she was later released," sheriff's Sgt. Rod LaBrecque said in a news release.

Johnson was booked into the Indio jail but posted $50,000 bail on Wednesday, records show. He's slated to appear in court on June 10.
