80-Year-Old Coachella Valley Man Disappears, Public's Help Sought

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The Riverside County Sheriff's Department Monday asked the public for help in locating an 80-year-old man missing from Coachella.

Salomon Rojas Moreno was last seen at 11 a.m. July 26 in the 84400 block of Julia Drive in Coachella, according to authorities. He drives a 2003 brown Nissan Murano, which was last seen traveling eastbound on Interstate 8 in Arizona.

He is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 134 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, dark gray pants and black open-end shoes.

Anyone who sees Moreno was asked to call sheriff's dispatch at 800-950- 2444.
