Agua Caliente Casino Debuts New Menu At Water's Café

The popular casino eatery has added everything from "guilty pleasures" to farm fresh meals.

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage has unveiled a new menu at its beloved Water's Café to kick off the new year.

Spearheaded by Executive Chef Juan Morales, the new menu features everything from a health-conscious protein bowl to rich braised short ribs.

However, the main focus of the menu is farm-to-table, Sandy Josephson, Vice President of Food and Beverage, told NBC Palm Springs.

"This time, we wanted to highlight the incredible farms in our area and create dishes that are not only delicious but also sustainable and healthier," Josephson told the station.

The menu is long and includes a large variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items.

"We've added a few standout items like the brick chicken with boysenberry mashed potatoes, the protein bowl with ground turkey, squash, spinach, and avocado, and of course, a new twist on classic eggs benedict with braised short ribs," Morales told NBC Palm Springs.

The menu also adopted several comfort food items and "guilty pleasures," Morales said.

The menu's indulgent Chicken Pot Pie ($20) consists of pulled chicken, carrots, onions, celery, peas, puff pastry and chicken gravy. The jambalaya ($24) is packed with chicken breast, andouille sausage, shrimp, lobster, anaheim peppers, tomato and steamed rice.

There are plenty of vegetarian options, such as the Szechuan wok tofu stir fry ($18), the "Grown-Up Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque" ($20) and the quinoa and brown rice harvest grain bowl ($18).

Morales added three Eggs Benedicts to the breakfast menu, including the traditional, the mushroom and the short rib Benedict.

The menu also includes Happy Hour, which is Monday through Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 to 11 p.m.
