The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside and San Bernardino counties dropped Wednesday to its lowest amount since Jan. 16, falling 1.4 cents to $3.688, according to the Automobile Club of
Southern California.
The average price in the two counties as of Oct. 30 was 5.3 cents less than one week ago, 22.1 cents lower than one month ago and 43.3 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
Further price decreases are expected because of lower demand and the switch to cheaper-to-produce winter blend of gasoline, according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California said.
