AYSO La Quinta’s 10U Girls’ Team Representing Coachella Valley Heads to National Championship July 24 in Irvine

LA QUINTA – For the first time, the AYSO La Quinta’s 10U Girls’ Select Champion Team Representing Region 443 will compete in a National Championship July 24-30 in Irvine., Calif.

“This is an opportunity of a lifetime for these girls, and we need public donation to offset the cost of travel and accommodations,” said Desire Tegge.’ “We ask you to please consider donating, becoming a sponsor, or providing a prize for our raffle. La Quinta AYSO Region 443 is a registered non-profit, all-volunteer organization that services children from the entire Coachella Valley. Our tax ID number is: 95-6205398.

The team is comprised of nine girls aged 8-10 years old from all over the Coachella Valley and will be accompanied by coaches and parent chaperones. The girls were chosen for their sportsmanship, attitude, and ability to be ambassadors for the Coachella Valley.

The AYSO National Games is not just a national championship tournament. The AYSO National Games is a cultural exchange event held every two years, designed to bring together players and volunteers from across the country for a celebration of sportsmanship, team spirit, making new friends, lots of soccer and having fun through all its activities.

The games will include 3,300 players, 220 teams, playing under the AYSO philosophies:

● Positive Coaching

● Good Sportsmanship

● Player Development
