Best Mother's Day Brunch Options In Palm Desert, Palm Springs: 2025
Reservations are still available at many of these Coachella Valley restaurants open for brunch, lunch or dinner.
PALM DESERT, CA—Mother's Day 2025 is almost here, on Sunday, May 11. It's time to impress your mom (or wife) and make your dining and activities reservations ahead of schedule. Whether you call the restaurant directly or make a reservation on OpenTable, it's better to do so sooner rather than later.
Smaller, more intimate restaurants' brunch reservations fill up quickly, while multiple chain options offer delicious food and excellent service. Many have reservations currently available on OpenTable. Whether you indulge in gourmet dining, send mom to relax at a spa, or plan a family outing to a creative workshop or scenic outdoor adventure, plan ahead to ensure a fun and relaxing day for all.
In Coachella Valley, we suggest the following brunch, lunch, or dinner options:
- Cafe Des Beaux Arts: Located at 73-640 El Paseo, Palm Desert. According to OpenTable, "Come and savor French-Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of Palm Desert. Enjoy a truly wonderful dining experience on our patio. You'll love our extraordinary food at affordable prices. No reservations taken for small parties at lunch or breakfast time; just come on in, and we'll accommodate you!" This spot is considered a neighborhood gem by those in the know, charming and great for special occasions.
- Eddie V's - Palm Desert: Located at 73040 El Paseo in Palm Desert. Open Table says, “Eddie V's Prime Seafood is a luxury dining destination known for the seafood flown in from pristine waters around the world, as well as its premium hand-carved steaks. Dishes are artistically prepared and feature an ever-changing array of seasonal seafood, along with critically acclaimed prime center-cut steaks broiled to perfection. The restaurant's award-winning wine list, which Wine Spectator has recognized, has more than 300 wines curated by Eddie V's very own Advanced Sommelier.”
- LuLu California Bistro: Located at 200 S. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs. According to OpenTable, there are still seats available for Sunday Brunch, with seats priced at $59.99 per person and kids' seats at $24.99. "Lulu's award-winning, fresh, Spring-inspired brunch offers 16 delicious entrees, plus appetizers and dessert. Or choose Lulu's special 3-course Mother's Day dinner with a delectable selection of dishes, including slow-roasted prime rib, fresh filet of Atlantic salmon, chicken Cordon Bleu, and much more."
- POM - Fantasy Springs Resort Casino: Located at 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway, Indio. Open Table says there are still reservations available for Mother's Day. "POM is Fantasy Springs Resort Casino's answer to casino cafes. POM features breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an atmosphere that's light, airy and modern," according to Open Table.
- Rockwood Grill and Blue Star Lounge: Located at 74855 Country Club Drive, Palm Desert. Seats are still available at the restaurant, which offers American and California cuisine and is located within the JW Marriott resort. Open Table says, "The elegant dining experience at the Rockwood Grill in the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa is a fantastic representation of American cuisine. Come enjoy our menu full of local ingredients and flavorful fare."
- State Fare Bar & Kitchen: Located at 68900 Frank Sinatra Drive, Rancho Mirage. Open Table has reservations available for the Mother's Day Brunch at the Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage's State Fare restaurant. According to the site, "Make this Mother's Day truly extraordinary at The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage. Indulge in an opulent culinary spread curated by our talented chefs. With sweeping views of the majestic mountains serving as your backdrop and our impeccable service attending to your every need, this Mother's Day Brunch promises to be an unforgettable celebration of the most important woman in your life. Reserve your table now to ensure a day filled with gourmet delights and heartfelt moments that Mom will treasure forever. Seatings are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. $85 per Adult and $35 for Children (12 and Under).
- Twenty6: Located at the Waldorf Astoria La Quinta Resort & Spa, 49499 Eisenhower Drive, La Quinta. In Palm Desert and Palm Springs, and across Coachella Valley, there are several casual restaurants will have brunch spots available, like Applebee’s, BJ’s Restaurant and Brew House, The Cheesecake Factory, Chili’s, Lazy Dog, Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ, P.F. Chang’s, and Texas Roadhouse. As always, it’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure the chain locations near you are open.

There's no substitute for a spa day at The Spa at Desert Hot Springs at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort, Pechanga Resort Casino's Spa Pechanga, or a day spent at the Murrieta Hot Springs Resort. If they are sold out on Mother's Day, a gift card will go a long way.
