BIGHORN Cares Charities Donate $875K At Annual Fundraiser
Over 70 Coachella Valley nonprofits will receive funds from the Golf Club Charity, totalling in $875,000 in donations.
PALM DESERT, CA — Palm Desert's Bighorn Golf Club Charities planned to distribute $875,000 in donations to 72 nonprofit organizations in the Coachella Valley Wednesday evening at its Donor and Recipient Awards dinner.The 7 p.m. invitation only event was closed to the public.
The 2024 donations are the 10th group of grants, according to a spokesperson. More than 200 organizations requested a total of almost $4 million in funding during this grant cycle, both record figures for the charity.
Most of the grant recipients were notified in December, but an additional 15 applicants were announced Jan. 10, along with an additional $175,000 in funding. The full list of over 70 nonprofits selected for funding includes:
