PALM SPRINGS, CA – Revolution Stage Company planned a memorial celebration for longtime RSC collaborator and supporter Jeanie Cunningham.

The memorial event was slated to begin at 4 p.m. Monday, according to RSC organizers, who requested donations of non-perishable food items and contributions to Well of the Desert instead of flowers. It was also live-streamed at www.youtube.com.

Cunningham, who died in November at age 68, had a lengthy career as a singer-songwriter, having toured internationally as a guitarist for Lionel Richie and as part of her own all-female band, The Cherries, according to the Palm Springs Post. She also wrote musicals and songs for product campaigns, in addition to being a producer at Cherokee Studios.
