Celebrity Golf Classic Takes Place in Palm Desert

From BGC Coachella Valley: Celebrities and athletes from all around the country will be in Palm Desert this weekend participating at the inaugural Celebrity Golf Classic hosted by the star of TV’s Blackish, Anthony Anderson. Players, sponsors and their invited guests will be treated to an opening night VIP Welcome Reception & Pairings Party Sunday evening at 6:00 pm, with the Celebrity- Amateur golf outing taking place on Monday at 8:30 a.m. The event will conclude with a memorable awards reception featuring tournament winner prizes, snacks and cocktails.

There will be music, fun and laughter throughout the two-day event as well as several opportunities to interact with celebrities. The setting for this event and the coming together of these world-class entertainers, celebrities and sports figures is sure to be a phenomenal success.

The primary mission for the Anthony Anderson Celebrity Golf Classic is to benefit non- profit organizations who support children, young adults and adults in areas of health, wellness, faith and mentorship. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Coachella Valley (BGCofCV) will be one of the four recipients of the tournament proceeds.
