A hit-and-run crash with injuries was reported Wednesday afternoon at Varner Road and Bob Hope Drive in Thousand Palms, and a blood technician was requested, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at 1:53 p.m. Sept. 18 and it involved vehicles described as a gray Honda Civic, a gray Cobalt and a black Nissan Altima, according to the CHP.
At 2:05 p.m. a suspect vehicle was reported westbound on Varner. A subject apparently ran from the vehicle, according to the CHP.
At least one victim was taken to Eisenhower Medical Center. Several tow truck crews responded.
