City of Palm Desert Issues Traffic Alert

From the City of Palm Desert:

PALM DESERT, CA - The traffic signals at Highway 111 and Fred Waring Drive will be in flash mode with the intersection functioning as a four-way stop for part of the morning on Friday, September 2.

The signal outage, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. is related to completion of construction of a free right turn lane from westbound Fred Waring onto westbound Highway 111.

Delays are possible and motorists are encouraged to allow extra time or use alternate routes.
