Clydesdales And RivCo Cops Usher In Stagecoach Country Music Festival
The team of horses and the Palm Desert Riverside County Sheriff's deputies joined forces in what has become an annual meet-up.

PALM DESERT, CA — The Palm Desert Sheriff's Station deputies were out in full force Wednesday, ensuring the annual arrival of the Budweiser Clydesdales went off without a hitch.
"The Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station was out in full force yesterday, ensuring a safe and smooth visit from the legendary Clydesdale horses at El Paseo in Palm Desert," a spokesperson for the department said. The crowd greeted the horses in the free El Paseo event.

This is a perfect blend of tradition, community, and desert charm, they said.
The eight-horse hitch hauled the red Budweiser beer wagon and was accompanied by the Dalmatian “coach dog,” bred and trained to protect the regal horses and guard the beer wagon, according to event organizers.

The Clydesdale-drawn wagon will make special beer deliveries to select restaurants along the avenue before their arrival at this weekend's sold-out Stagecoach country music festival in Indio.
