Coroner Identifies Man Killed In North Palm Springs I-10 Crash
The fatal wreck occurred on eastbound Interstate 10 at the state Route 62 connector bridge, according to the coroner.
NORTH PALM SPRINGS, CA — A man killed in a North Palm Springs freeway crash over the long Thanksgiving holiday has been identified by the coroner as a La Puente resident.
Wanrong Chen, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene of Friday's eastbound Interstate 10 crash at the state Route 62 connector bridge, the coroner reported.
According to the agency, the fatal wreck occurred just before 7 a.m.

It's unclear how many vehicles were involved, but Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said a second person was sent to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
