Culture Club Set To Perform In Riverside County
Emerging in the New Romantic scene, Culture Club fronted by Boy George is considered one of the most influential bands of the 1980s.
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — Culture Club, the English new wave band featuring frontman Boy George, is headed to the desert next year.
It was announced Tuesday that the international pop icons will bring their signature sound to The Show at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Emerging in the New Romantic scene, Culture Club is considered one of the most representative and influential groups of the 1980s. The band's debut album, Kissing to Be Clever (1982), introduced audiences to the group’s groundbreaking style and produced the smash hit “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.”
The follow-up album, Colour by Numbers (1983), became a worldwide phenomenon, selling more than 10 million copies and spawning enduring hits including “Karma Chameleon,” “Church of the Poison Mind,” and “Miss Me Blind.” The album appeared on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 Best Albums of the 1980s and is also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

Four more albums followed: Waking Up with the House on Fire (1984), From Luxury to Heartache (1986), Don't Mind If I Do (1999), and Life (2018).
With Boy George’s unmistakable voice and bold artistry, Culture Club became one of the most influential bands of the MTV era, earning numerous awards and international acclaim. Their genre-bending catalog helped shape a generation and continues to inspire artists today. Over the years, the band has cultivated one of the most devoted fan bases in pop music.
