
A suspect in as many as nine robberies since Aug. 30 in Coachella was at large Tuesday and deputies were asking for the public's help to identify him.
According to sheriff's Sgt. Mike Tapp, the robberies occurred between Aug. 30 and Monday Oct. 14 in the City of Coachella:
1. Friday Aug. 30, 2013, Don Roberto Jewelers.
2. Saturday Sept. 21, 2013, 7-Eleven.
3. Tuesday Sept. 24, 2013, Fashion Season 2.
4. Saturday Sept. 28, 2013, Fallas Paredes.
5. Monday Sept. 30, 2013, Don Roberto Jewelers.
6. Saturday Oct. 05, 2013, AM/PM.
7. Sunday Oct. 06, 2013, Radio Shack.
8. Sunday Oct. 06, 2013, Quik Mart.
9. Monday Oct. 14, 2013, 7-Eleven.
"The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 18-25 years, 505-508, thin build, wearing a black shirt, black hat, and black pants," Tapp said in a statement. "The suspect brandished a handgun during the robberies and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous."
