Duran Duran to Perform at Agua Caliente on March 17

Formed in Birmingham, England, in 1978, Duran Duran lead the charge for the “Second British Invasion” of the U.S. in the video-driven MTV world of the 1980s, continuing with a surge into the 90s, and to date they’ve sold over 100 million records. Their most recent, “Paper Gods,” was released in September 2015 and entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 10, earning the iconic British band their highest charting album in 22 years.

One of the earliest bands to work on their own remixes, before the days of digital synthesizers and easy audio sampling, Duran Duran created multi-layered arrangements of their singles, sometimes recording entirely different extended performances of the songs in the studio. This musical prowess is an impressive mix with the band’s keen sense of visual style.
