INDIO, CA — A magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck near Indio Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake hit at 4:23 a.m. and was centered 7 miles southeast of Indio Hills and 7.2 miles northeast of Indio. It was about 1.5 miles deep.
The temblor was 8 miles northeast of Coachella and 13.9 miles northeast of La Quinta.
