RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA - A small earthquake jolted a section of Riverside County Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The temblor struck at 8:21 a.m. at a depth of 5.6 miles with a magnitude of 3, its epicenter 7.8 miles south-southeast of Ribbonwood and 15.2 miles south-southwest of La Quinta, according to a computer-generated report from the USGS.
