Entry Deadline Extended for Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade to Oct. 18
The 49th annual parade, scheduled for Oct. 27 on El Paseo, is still accepting float, cart and band entries, according to organizers.
The entry deadline for the Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade was extended Wednesday by a week, from Oct. 11 to Oct. 18.

Barbara Sinatra, widow of the singer and founder of her namesake children's center at Eisenhower Medical Center, will be the grand marshal. The event will include a pancake breakfast, golf expo and cart show, along with children's activities.
The parade has more than 75 entries, organizers said Oct. 9.
