Expect I-10 Detour Through Desert Center This Week

DESERT CENTER, CA — The California Department of Transportation announced Sunday that eastbound traffic will be shifted from the Redlands (10) freeway eastbound mainline to the temporary eastbound detour road from Desert Center to Alta Ditch.
Pavement rehabilitation work in the area is scheduled to take place from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Eastbound lane closures will take place on the eastbound detour road from Desert Center to Wiley's Well for K-rail placement, Caltrans announced.
