Fire Burns Palm Desert Home

PALM DESERT, CA — A single-story home in Palm Desert was charred by a fire Sunday morning, but no one was injured.

The fire was reported at 8:05 a.m. in the 77500 block of Edinburough Street, off Warren Trail and near the Palm Desert Country Club, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Firefighters responding to the scene found the home fully engulfed in flames, but were able to extinguish the blaze in about 30 minutes, the department said.

There was no word on whether any residents were displaced.
