Fire Rips Through Indio Home, Displacing Residents

The blaze was reported at 1:49 a.m. Wednesday in the 46000 block of Denslow Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

INDIO, CA — A fire early Wednesday morning that damaged a home in Indio also left residents displaced.

The blaze was reported at 1:49 a.m. in the 46000 block of Denslow Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found the single-family home "fully involved with fire," the department reported.

Firefighters contained the blaze at 2:36 a.m. and no injuries were reported.

The American Red Cross was requested to assist the displaced residents.
