Indian Canyon Drive Closing Overnight In North Palm Springs

The closure between Sunrise Parkway and Garnet Avenue is scheduled from 9 p.m. Nov. 30 to 5 a.m. Dec. 1.

The following is a Nov. 28, 2023, news release from the city of Palm Springs:

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Indian Canyon Drive will be closed overnight Thursday between Garnet Avenue and Sunrise Parkway. The closure will begin at 9 p.m. Thursday and the road will reopen to traffic at 5 a.m. Friday.

Construction crews will work overnight to restripe and realign Indian Canyon Drive as part of Stage 1 of the Indian Canyon Drive Widening Project. The speed through the construction
zone has been reduced to 25 mph, and the intersection at Palm Springs Station Road will
continue to be a 4-way stop intersection.
