Suspect In Custody After Shutting Down I-10

PALM DESERT, CA -- Interstate 10 in Palm Desert was reportedly closed in both directions Saturday afternoon as police officers swarmed the area. CBS reported a driver was "screaming" out her car window as she interacted with officers before she was eventually taken into custody.

The incident was reported around 1 p.m., CBS said.

CBS reported that five patrol cars and a helicopter were at the scene as traffic backed up.
