JW Marriott In Palm Desert Unveils New 'Entertainment Zone'

PALM DESERT, CA — The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert announced Thursday the opening of its new JW Entertainment Zone.

At 12,000-square-feet, the arcade area is the largest in California and welcomes hotel guests, group bookings, and the public, according to the JW Marriot announcement.

The new entertainment venue includes iconic games like PacMan, Skee Ball, and Air Hockey, as well as new challenges like high-tech simulators, motocross racing games, four lanes of duckpin bowling, and more.

The JW Entertainment Zone is part of the resort’s multi-million dollar transformation. The property’s "reinvention" also boasts 884 redesigned guest rooms and the debut of the Sinatra Ballroom—a nod to the late performer whose final concert was hosted in the space. A newly renovated spa and arrival area were also part of the overhaul.

The JW Marriott Desert Springs is also unveiling its JW Family Passport, expanding the resort’s offerings for younger guests. Nature walks, family yoga, flamingo feedings, ice cream socials, scavenger hunts, trivia nights, and more are on tap. Guests can have their passport stamped after participating in activities and redeem prizes from the resort’s "treasure chest."
