Large Bee Swarm Spurs Warnings In Palm Springs
The city said it is working to professionally relocate the beehive, a process that could take up to two weeks.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Palm Springs authorities are urging the public to take caution over the next week as they work to relocate a large bee swarm in town.
The massive swarm of bees has been reported at Gateway Park, near the intersection of E. Vista Chino and N. Gene Autry, located along the wall just north of the bocce ball courts, the city said Friday in a statement.

The city has hired a professional bee relocation service to move the hive. The process involves locating the queen bee, which could take anywhere from seven to 14 days, the city said.
